Be Watching
The voyeur inside you loves to be watching.
We tapped into the creep inside all of us who loves to watch. (Personally I like to watch the people driving next to me in traffic.)
SIFF goers who saw this trailer were surprised. Usually, SIFF takes an upbeat tone. Our darker take was perfect for one of the country’s largest festivals. It reminded people of the breadth of movies offered, while remaining whimsical and unexpected.
Finally, a mascot who everyone can relate to. Binocular woman.
I’m a movie lover, not a movie fighter.
For SIFF-goers, part of the fun is getting to know everyone else in line because you’re all there for the same reasons. (Movies, just in case you skipped to the bottom.) So we created a number you could text to receive pick-up lines to use on fellow fans.
Cards were printed and handed to people in line. We received hundreds of calls, and while we don’t know all of the sordid details, we’re pretty sure each call led to a late-night hookup.
